17th Century Bathroom Discovered in Derbyshire

A 17th century "bathing room," possibly influenced by Sir William Cavendish, has been discovered in an abandoned outbuilding at Bolsover in Derbyshire, England.

Cavendish, known for his fastidious habits, is thought to have started the craze of immersion bathing, in the area. The construction of the rooms supports the concept of piped-in water and a sunken bath.
