The arrow was fired from 20 feet (6 meters) away as the man approached a stopped vehicle where a woman was blocking traffic while talking on a cell phone. Fearing another arrow, the victim removed the projectile from his own back, climbed back into his vehicle, and sped away to a hospital. Authorities say the arrow missed vital organs, and the victim is recovering at home after being released from the hospital.
