Unto the populaces of the fair and noble Kingdom of Meridies, the esteemed Principality of Gleann Abhann, and of the Known World does Iohann hlaford bring news from the inaugural Crown List of the Principality of Gleann Abhann:
Upon this auspicious occasion, 31 brave and noble gentles sought the title of King, Gleann Abhann. The final contest for the Crown of the Incipient Kingdom fell upon Viscount Sir Michael of the Mace (who honored Viscountess Brenna inghean Fhionnlaoich, called Brenna of the Emerald Isle) and Graf Sir Tar Radu (who chose to represent Bann-Iarla Broinnfhionn inghean uí Chatháin, called Bri). Their Excellencies Michael & Brenna call the Barony of Grey Niche their home, while Their Excellencies Radu & Bri claim citizenship in the Barony of Axemoor.
The list was styled as a double elimination tournament for the best two of three fights per pair of opponents. After the completion of the tournament, which saw Graf Radu as the victor, Their Stellar Graces Gleann Abhann briefly addressed the populace and the Heirs to the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann. Then Prince Stephen Wolfe and Princess Jacqueline de Lyons placed the Coronets on Radu and Bri, respectively.
The assembled nobles of the Known World who came to witness this spectacle were Their Royal Majesties Meridies, Their Stellar Graces Gleann Abhann, His Royal Majesty Calontir, Their Stellar Majesties Ansteorra, and His Stellar Highness Ansteorra.
The List Mistress was Countess Jane Falada (Grey Niche) and the primary marshals were the Kingdom Earl Marshal Sir Artos Ancilis (South Downs) and Sir William Read (Troll Fen).
