Markham Village Community Centre
6041 Highway 7, Markham, Ontario L3P 3A7
Come join us for a day of combat and socializing, in memory of our friend, Sir Thorbjorn Osis, who was killed in a car accident in the spring of 1999, during his reign as King of Ealdormere.
Site opens at 11:30am, closes at 9:30pm.
Site is WET. No BYOB as per Ontario Law.
Site fee: $20 Cdn (includes supper & beverages) Discount of $15 Cdn with proof of heavy weapons authorization. (card or white belt/baldric and armour must be shown to receive discount) Non-member surcharge ($4 Cdn) will apply to all non-discounted site fees.
Activities of the day include:
- FIGHTING - We have the full arena floor as a list field, so there's lots of space for every kind of fighting imaginable, including 9ft spear and combat archery. Plenty of bleacher space is available for those non-combatants who would like to watch the fighting throughout the day.
- An "Osis-style" supper (wings) and beverages (guess what?) will follow the fighting. (cost is included in your site fee) In order to better plan quantities, a phone or email RSVP would be appreciated. Advance payment is not required, just let us know you're planning to attend.
