In addition to the tourneys, there will be contests and games aplenty, as well as well as a felt-making workshop for the young & the young-at-heart. There will also be a potluck
For the potluck, bring any item(s) you wish.
The site is discretely wet, which enables the Brewing Guild to sponsor an open brewing competition.
Measure for Measure is sponsoring a pie contest - from dessert to dinner pies. Cooking entries will be part of the potluck offerings to the populace & will be judged during feast.
Other contests include:
- Baron's whim: Woodworking in any mode
- Morgana: A board game tourney
- A&S: Pouches (judged on Sunday), adult & child categories.
Site information: Wilderness Pavilion at Pioneer Park (Alaskaland) in Fairbanks. This is the pavilion closest to the river. Take Peger Road & turn East into the gravel parking lot at the boat launch area. The pavilion is covered, but has open sides, so bring warm cloaks in case of inclement weather or wind. Site opens at 10am & closes at ???.
There is no overnight camping allowed at the site, however there are campgrounds nearby for those so inclined. Please contact the autocrat if you are in need of housing or if you'd like information on camping facilities.
Site fees are: $5.00 adult members (ages 18 +), $8.00 non-members, $3.00 for children over 12. Family rates may be negotiated.
