I am thrilled to announce that Reenactor Fest, the first EVER national convention for historical reenactors and military history enthusiasts is OFFICIALLY ON! The date is February 3-5, 2006 at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest in Arlington Park, IL. Details are at http://www.reenactorfest.com/ and so are discounted advanced tickets and discounted room rates for convention attendees. Our polls showed that Medieval / Rennaissance reenactors WAY outnumber any other time period. If you added The Revolutionary War, Civil War, WW1, WW2 and all other TOGETHER they do not equal the Medieval / Rennaissance period. What an opportunity to educate the public and your peers in the hobby about what you do! What an opportunity to get everybody together and CELBRATE!!

Dealer tables are already selling fast but we want MORE Medieval / Rennaissance dealers and MORE Medieval / Rennaissance groups to participate in displays and demonstrations. I am no expert in this time period so PLEASE pass this info on to your friends and your favorite dealers in the hobby. Please post this info on the various forums you frequent! It's our first year and we need all the help we can muster! Medieval / Rennaissance authors and other educated enthusiasts are wanted to give seminars and lectures. Please visit the site and contact me with any questions you may have at info@reenactorfest.com

Cheers!
