Girl Scout Father-Daughter Dance features demo by Shire of Quintavia

The Shire of Quintavia, located in modern-day Worcester, Massachusetts (USA) and vicinity, offered a demo as part of the local Girl Scouts' Father-Daughter Dance night. Holly Fiore, reporting for the Westborough News, offers a detailed recounting of the evening's festivities.

Ms. Fiore writes:

Amidst the hustle and bustle of dancing girls and their escorts roamed various knights, lords and ladies of the Worcester area chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of the Middle Ages. Known as the Shire of Quintavia, the Worcester chapter is led by Lady Isabel of Rosley (also known as Debbie Benedict), who was a vision in red and did an outstanding job explaining what SCA is all about to the masses.
