The SCA's own version of Iron Chef will take place at this year's Pennsic War. Loosely based on the Japanese TV show Iron Chef, a competition at this year's Pennsic War will give great SCAdian cooks a chance to strut their stuff. Teams of six people or less will have three hours to create dishes with a "theme ingredient." Cooks are required to bring their own kitchen setup, and car access is allowed. The competition will take place in a special pavilion and the winner will return to the following Pennsic to defend his or her title as Pennsic Iron Chef.
