IC Wales: Shopowner Blasts Teens with Medieval Music

A Welsh shopowner has found a novel way to deal with rowdy teenagers: he bombards them with medieval music.

Rod Nedahl, who owns a shop which sells household goods and pet food in the Rhondda Valley of Wales, found himself and his family having trouble with gangs of rowdy teens until one day he found a solution that worked. Nedhal began playing medieval religious music. Apparently the Gregorian chant blasted into the street from the door of the shop was so distressing to the youths that they took their business - and their trouble - elsewhere.
