War will be looming on the horizon, and so is the need for practicing for it! The Canton of Steltonwald invites all to the Aethelmearc War Practice XVI to be held May 19-22 at Cooper’s Lake Campground (205 Currie Road, Slippery Rock, Pa. 16507). Four days of all the fun you would expect. All the normal activities (fighting, fencing, archery, classes, shopping, court, dancing and, of course, partying!) will be held as usual.

The site opens promptly at 12pm on Thursday May 19, and closes Sunday May, 22 at 3pm. The site is wet, and there is copious camping space, but no pets are allowed. No camping will be permitted on the Serenghetti. Any vehicles not parked in the approved parking areas will be towed.

A sideboard will be available to all attendees for brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Also, food vendors will be on site for your convenience.

There will be a variety of martial activities throughout the day on Saturday.

You must be on the schedule to use any of the buildings or site tents. All those teaching classes are asked to sign in at Troll upon arrival so the activities coordinator knows that you are on site. The schedule of activities will be posted on this site as they become available

Please remember to bring your membership cards as the NMS will be in effect and all non-members and those who forget their membership cards will be charged an additional $3.00. Waiver forms will be available to download from here soon. Please consider filling this out and bringing it with you; this will speed up your trip through troll.
