Catholic News: Tomb of St. Paul Found?

The Vatican has announced that a team of archaeologists have discovered what they believe is the tomb of St. Paul in Rome's St. Paul Outside the Walls Basilica.

The result of a three-year excavation, the re-discovery of a sarcophagus in the ground level of the 4th century basilica, has archaeologists excited.

"The tomb that we discovered is the one that the popes and the Emperor Theodosius (379-395) saved and presented to the whole world as being the tomb of the apostle," said Giorgio Filippi, a Vatican specialist.
