East Kingdom Laurels Prize Tournament

A Laurels Prize Tournament is an Arts and Science event that is geared toward participants to take up period challenges of excellence made by a Laurel. The number individuals taking a challenge is not limited (unless specified), and the laurel making the challenge will be the sole person to judge which entrant comes the closest.

Additionally, this event encourages artisans to show their work even if they have not taken up a specific challenge (just as a Laurel is encouraged to come to the event and see the items even if they have not created their own challenge). This gives everyone the opportunity to meet and present their items to a variety of Laurels for feedback without the anxiety of a competition.

Please also note that due to limited table space, pre-registration for either a challenge or display is strongly encouraged.

For information regarding the challenges put forth, please visit the LPT web site at http://home.comcast.net/~iheronimus/laurels/index.html.
