With much talk of Turkey's proposed entry into the European Union, this exhibit of culture, art and history can't help but shine a glorious light on the country's achievements over the past 1000 years. Turks: A Journey of a Thousand Years, 600-1600 may be the world's greatest display of Turkish art and culture. The exhibit opened January 22, 2005 at London't Royal Academy of Arts.
