Enthusiasm for Film Epics May be Waning

The less-than-stellar performance of the latest Hollywood epics may mean that viewers' enthusiam for the genre may be waning.

Even though big-budget extravaganzas such as Alexander and King Arthur may not have produced the revenues hoped for, more such films are in the offing. Foremost among these is Kingdom of Heaven, a film about the Crusades, set to be released in May 2005.
