It is the pride of the Shires of Turmstadt and Isengau, and of the Stronghold of Nebelwald, to announce to the populace the hosting of Spring Crown Tourney 2005.

Crown will be held in the beautiful castle "Hohenberg an der Eger" (see more about it at http://www.burghohenberg.de/seite2.htm, and follow the links "Ansichten" and "Fotogalerie"), near the town of Marktredwitz close to the German-Czech border. The castle dates back to the 13th century, with the better part of the still-standing structures being built in the 16th and 17th century.

Aside of a weekend in a wonderful castle, Court, Feast, and the Crown Tourney, we will also provide: A fencing tournament, free for all styles, but with an emphasis on Schläger blades, Archery, Arts & sciences competitions, plus classes.

People interested in teaching should contact the class coordinator; we'd be more than happy to complement fighting with some education. For "100 things you always wanted to know from your local Seneschal", there is also a restored torturing chamber available.

Site opens Fri, 18th, 16.00 (4pm) and closes Sunday, 20th, 12.00 (noon).

Site fee is 45€/55US$ per person, with a family cap of 99€/125US$. This includes full board Friday night to Sunday morning, feast, and sleeping space.

We will have a tavern operating.

Unfortunately, you're not allowed to bring pets to the site.
