Next Hastings Re-Enactment to be in 2006

English Heritage has announced that the next re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings will take place in October 2006, coinciding with the 950th anniversary of the battle.

The battle will be organized by The Vikings Inc. and will be open to participants worldwide as long as they are willing to comply with authenticity and safety guidelines.

As pointed out by a House sister of mine, the 950th would actually be in 2016. This would be the 940th.
