Fellowship of the Ring Extended Version "Easter Eggs"

Lady Brianna McBain reports that the new extended version of "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" DVD contains two "Easter eggs." "Lord of the Rings" fans will be pleased - and amused - to discover an "Easter egg" (hidden file) in the extended version of the "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" DVD.

Lady Brianna McBain writes:

"Go to the menu page and click on 'select-a-scene'. Then scroll through until you find the page where you can choose the 'Council of Elrond' scene. Now click on the single asterisk at the bottom of the page on the left side. Director Peter Jackson comes on an introduces an alternate satirical version of the council of Elrond. Enjoy!"

Editor's note: This alternate version is rated PG-13!

Another hidden treat can be found on the second disk, as reported by Lady Aurelia:

"On the second disk of the movie, go into chapter selections, go to the last page, there over to the number listing on the right. Go all the way down as far as you can. At the botton right corner of the screen the Two Towers icon will appear, and you can see the trailer for Two Towers that was shown at the end of Fellowship near the end of the run."
