"Letterwriting in Renaissance England," on display at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, through April 2, 2005 traces the evolution of Renaissance letter-writing. The exhibit also showcases the material conditions of early modern letter-writing (such as seals, enclosures, endorsements, foldings, paper and inks).
