Irish Independent: A Wealth of New Archeaological Sites Discovered in Ireland

Archaeologists working along the M3 in Ireland have discovered 28 new sites including prehistoric burial sites and a medieval house and field system.

A 15-kilometer stretch of road between Dunshaughlin and Navan in the Tara-Skryne valley of Ireland has become a source of great excitement for archaeologists. 28 new sites were recently discovered ranging in time periods from prehistoric to early 19th century. Researchers are particularly interested in three medieval farm houses.
