Medieval Tailoring Class to be Taught in London

The Medieval Dress & Textile Society in England is offering Clothes and Tailoring in Medieval Europe: Reconstructing Medieval Tailoring, a workshop to be held in London October 23, 2004.

An all-day workshop is being held at the Kenneth Clarke Lecture Theatre of the Courtauld Institute of Art for the cost of £15. Classes include "Armholes & Anatomy: Practical studies in fourteenth-century cutting," "Theatrical Costume maker/tailor. An heraldic mantle for Lady Catherine Clopton (1460-1485)" and "Shakespeare's Tailors and the Geometry of cutting."
