Viking Burial Site Found in England

Archaeologists have located the burial site of six Vikings who died around the beginning of the 10th century CE.

A total of six Viking men and women are interred at the site, along with swords, spears, jewelry, fire-making materials and riding equipment. The site is located in northwestern England, near the town of Cumwhitton. According to archaeologists working the dig, the site is the first Viking burial site that has been found in England.
