Try some things you have never tried before. Scheduled activities include practices for Heavy List, Fencing, Thrown Weapons, and Hurley. For all of these, there will be loaner armor and equipment available, as well as instruction. There will also be singing with the Quire and possibly other no equipment or experience needed activities.
Bring a donation for the potluck day board and come and spend what promises to be a most enjoyable afternoon that may just start you on your path to becoming King someday.

From I-90 (Mass Pike): Take the Pike (exit 12) to Route 9 East. Go past several apartment complexes called "Edgewater --" (this will be about 10 minutes off 495, momentarily off 90). Go through intersection with Stop'n'Shop. Take right hand exit for Edgell Rd/Route 30. At the top of the ramp there is a traffic light. Take a right onto Union St. continue from ** below.
From Route 9 Westbound (including taking 128 to Route 9 in Newton/Wellesley): Follow Route 9 West through Wellesley and Natick into Framingham, passing in Framingham: Shopper's World, many small businesses and plazas, then Staples/Walgreens Plaza. Shortly after Staples/Walgreens Plaza take the right hand exit for Route 30/Edgell Road. Take a left (this will take you on a bridge over Route 9) which puts you onto Union St. Follow directions from ** below.
**Take the third right onto Franklin St. Follow Franklin St to a four way intersection (Shell Station on far right hand corner) and take a right onto Mt Wayte, which will shortly become Dudley Rd. The Farm Pond Recreation Area will be on your left. There are several small lots on the left and right sides of the road. DO NOT PARK ON DUDLEY ROAD!
By public transit:
Take the Framingham Commuter Rail (Purple Line) from South Station (red line) to the Framingham Stop. Walk away from the major intersection with the old train station building (currently an Indian Restaurant) along Route 135. You will pass some small businesses and soon come to an intersection with a gas station and car dealership. Take a right onto Fountain St. Dudley Road will be the first street on the right, and the park is a short ways down on the right. This is about a one mile walk. Rides can be arranged from the station if requested ahead of time, or, it is a short, cheap taxi ride. There are usually taxis at the station at the times that trains come in.
