Haaretz: Crusader-Era Remains Found in Jaffa

The remains of a 12th century crusader-era man were discovered recently during excavations in the Jaffa, Israel flea market.

Martin Fileshtoker of the Israel Antiquities Authority believes the skeleton, found in an area scheduled for renovation, narrowly postdates the crusader period and was probably from the Byzantine era, since a furnace dating to that time was found nearby.
