AEthelmearc Coronation

One and all are invited to attend this Grand Event, the Coronation of Rurik and Angelik, 14th King and Queen of the Sylvan Kingdom of AEthelmearc. So please join us for the celebration, co-hosted by the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands and the Incipient Shire of Kings Crossing.

The site will open at 9:00 AM and close at 9:30 PM. This site is discreetly damp(glass, alcohol, drinking containers are strictly prohibited except behind the bar and alcohol is banned outdoors since this is a dry county). The sire is the Carmichaels and Cumberland Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. Social Hall. 420 West George Sty, Carmichaels, PA 15320, offers plenty of parking and is handicapped-accessible. Sorry, no pets allowed.

In honor of the Coronation of Rurik and Angelik, the event will offer heavy weapons combat, fencing and youth combat, along with an afternoon of dancing, an A&S display, children's activities and other activities for all to enjoy. Lunch will be provided and will be prepared by Mistress Lenora of Willow Glenn, assisted by THLady Karana Yabokchi and Master Alastar McCrummin. The fees for this grand day are $8.00 for offboard, lunch will be provided for all and an additional $10.00 for feast (limited to 144). Children 6-17 are half-priced, those 5 and under are free. Make your reservations early; there will be an additional $1.00 fee for those paying at the door. A $3.00 non-member surcharge will be collected at the door for all full price attendees.

DIRECTIONS:

From All Directions: Take your best route to Interstate 79, go south if you are north of Waynesburg PA or go north if you are south of Waynesburg PA. Take I79 to exit 14 Waynesburg/Masontown, at the end of the tamp turn left onto State Route 21. At approximately 8.7 miles, State Route 21 will turn right at this point; stay straight onto West George St. Go an additional 1.3 miles and turn left into the social hall's parking lot, approx. 10 miles from I79. Do not park in front of the fire department's doors.
