A Not-So-Wet Start to War

In a feature article by Nicolaa de Bracton, the Pennsic Independent reports that pre-Pennsic concerns over a rainy year had less of an impact than had been feared, and that the new early in program for Pennsic War was both popular and successful.

Nicolaa writes that, "Rather than hip-waders, land sharks and rubber duckies, the story for land grab weekend was the huge numbers that turned out, leading to hours-long lineups for Troll...By 1:45 am on Saturday, when over 2,000 people had been processed through Troll, 99 of 113 total camping blocks had settled their arrangements, and were setting up."
