Medieval furniture lecture at Castlerock Museum

Anplica Fiore reports that the Castlerock Museum in Alma, Wisconsin will host a lecture entitled Medieval Furniture of the Maciejowski Bible on November 30, 2014 at 2pm.

From the museum website:

The Maciejowski Bible is a picture bible created in the mid 13th century. Derek Olson has been studying the book as a source for medieval furniture. He has been building the tables, chairs, beds, cradles, and more shown in its pages. Join him to see several of the pieces he's completed and hear him talk about the history of the Bible, the process of creating these pieces from the past, and the lessons learned along the way.

Admission is US $6 and includes museum admission.
