A horde of medieval Vikings descended on Lismore, New South Wales recently when members of the Rognvald's Lith joined with the Lismore Medieval Re-enactment Society to celebrate the Winter Solstice. Leah White of the Northern Star has the story.(photo)
The 80 members of Rognvald's Lith, who re-enact authentic Viking ways of life in Europe from 800-1100 CE, returned for the second time for the Viking Village Solstice. "We all look pretty fierce once we're enacting but we're all really friendly, which is one of the biggest reasons everyone gets involved," said member Alice Burgess.
