Siege of Leith Cannonball Found

A canonball, believed to have been fired during the Siege of Leith, has been found at a local construction site. The battle eventually led to the Treaty of Edinburgh, the fall of the Catholic Church in Scotland and the end of the Franco-Scottish Alliance in the 16th century.
