Medieval Society and SCA join forces at Purdue

"Reenacting medieval combat is one of the main attractions of the Medieval Society, but is certainly not the only one," writes Elizabeth Collins, staff reporter for The Purdue Exponent. Collins spoke with members of the university group and its partner, the SCA.

"The Medieval Society offers a wide range of creative activities that keep members coming back each year, including brewing, archery, fencing and horseback riding," she writes. "The group also participates in fantasy-based LARPing (live action role play) which provides a good balance with their more realistic reenactments formed around historic events and battles."
