Richard III Had Worms?

Ignominiously buried, scientists now believe that Richard III suffered from roundworms, an intestinal parasite.

An article in Lancet describes how the soil around his remains was sampled to determine the presence of roundworm eggs which result from fecal contamination of food.  No evidence of eggs were found at other locations on the site, which suggests that they came from the king, and there were no other common intestinal parasites along with his remains.
