Isaac Xavier Duncan, who will be a third-generation SCAdian, was born early in the morning of July 27 to Lady Deirdre Maccuswell and her husband Jason (mka Skye and Jason Duncan).

Grandparents Lord Undewyn Maccuswell and Lady Ciara Maccuswell sent out the proud and happy news that Isaac was born at 6:51 a.m., Eastern U.S. time, on July 27. Undewyn says, "Bearing much ruddy-brown hair, and his daddy's cleft chin, Isaac was 7 pounds, 11 ounces (3.5 kg); and was 18.5 inches (47 cm) long. He is perfectly formed and healthy, his Momma Skye positively glows and looks strong enough to go another round."

The Maccuswell family are residents of the Pentamere Region of the Middle Kingdom, known in the modern world as the state of Michigan. They are members of the household Erevnite Asteron, which also includes three of the SCAtoday.net senior editorial staff.
