An Austrian church is the site of an archeological find containing a rodent of unusual....shape. Does a certain famous Disney
character have a European ancestor?
Eduard Mahlknecht, an art historian, uncovered a fresco containing a rodent with large, round ears. It bears a striking resemblence
to Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse character. The fresco is from the 14th century CE and was believed to be dedicated to Saint
Christopher, patron of travellers.
