Leicester site reveals double coffin

The now famous car park in Leicester, England has revealed another interesting find - a stone coffin containing another lead coffin. This is the same site where Richard III's remains were found in 2012.

This burial is earlier than Richard and probably dates to the 13th or 14th centuries. It was on the grounds of Grey Friars monastery. The burial is likely someone of status, possibly one of the monastery's founders or a local knight. [photo]
