Young Midrealmers interested in learning SCA fighter practices may gather at the Renaissance Fencing Club in Madison Heights, MI. The first Sunday of the month has been declared "Boffer Sunday" in parts of the Middle Kingdom. Young fighters may meet and learn fighting skills at the Renaissance Fencing Club in Madison Heights, MI (Metro Detroit). According to Lord Roderick, "This has been done in an attempt to achieve critical mass for youth combat. For kids who can't come every week on the chance that there will be other kids there, all of them are encouraged to come on the first Sunday."

In addition to the Youth Combat, there will also be light and heavy fighting which will take place every Sunday.

The Renaissance Fencing Club is located at 31171 Stephenson Hwy in Madison Heights, MI. It is on the West side of the boulevard just North of 13 Mile road. Practices run 1:00-5:00 pm.
