[ATL] Hornwood-Guard Inn: Archery Festival

The Shire of Hornwood and The Scarlet Guard invite you (and challenge you) to a weekend of flying fletching, sharp shots, tricky targets, and fantastic food and fellowship! Fill the first weekend of June with all things archery.

Enjoy several different classes and courses to suit all archers from the beginner to the grand master bowmen. Bring a bow and a notebook and spend the weekend taking your game to the next level. After you have loosed your last arrow and the light of day fades bring your skill and luck to the gaming tables in the tavern, or just relax and enjoy the food, fire, and fellowship. For those whose skills expand beyond archery to include the talents of the bard or musician, the tavern welcomes and encourages you to share them! The tavern will be open both nights of the event and we encourage all to participate. So bring your instruments and your voices and help us make merry!

The archery festival will feature an all-day side board on Saturday with no formal feast so one may eat when the mood strikes and return to their endeavors. The side board includes wonderful breakfast foods in the morning and hearty soups, delicious bread, and all manner of other scrumptious edibles to delight your tastes and fill your belly. Camping on site is available, encouraged, and free! On friday evening set up and relax and worry about trolling in when morning comes. There are showers on site, camp fires are permitted, and the site is wet. Outside food is permitted. We would like to encourage merchants and they are welcome with no merchant fee. Interested parties, please contact the autocrat to make arrangements. See you on the ranges!
