Please join us at Pikeman's Pleasure XXIII for a Day at the Fair, June 1, 2013.
Firstly, as some of you may already be aware, we have had to leave our old site in Millbrook. (It certainly looks like a number of new starts for different events this year!) While many of you loved it (and the bridge, and Cynred's yearly baths) as much as we did, it was unfortunately time to move on.
Our new site is in Little Britain. For those of you unfamiliar with the location, Little Britain sits just a few minutes south and west of Lindsay, and north of Lake Scugog which puts it north of the Pickering/Oshawa area.
This site boasts a lovely treed park with room for fighting, fencing, archery and thrown weapons and merchants. There will be an arts and science competition as well. The hall is huge, please feel free to bring decorative presences. The site is also fully wheelchair accessible with an elevator.
Dinner will be brought to you by THL Mahault and Lady Mahhild, and already sounds very yummy. We are not serving a large feast however, so reserve early to save yourself a spot.
Merchants are most welcome; please contact our reservations steward, Master Dafydd ap Sion to reserve your table/space (sheldon at pipcom dot com).
More information will be forthcoming. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
THL Brendan Hunterson
