[ATL] Hawkwood Baronial Birthday IX

The warm winds of spring have banished the cold and frost -- come celebrate the continued reign of Baroness Deirdre and the birthday of the Barony of Hawkwood with a weekend of fighting, food and fun!

Martial Activities:

We will have armored and rapier fighting to insure all the combat you could possibly want!  List opens at 10:00; tourneys begin at noon! We will also have Thrown Weapons and Archery ranges set up!

Gamblers Throw:

The Rules We'll have several throwing weapons available, and when a person want's to throw for the competition they'll roll dice to find which weapons they'll be throwing, that way even inexperienced throwers have a chance to win if they happen to roll a weapon that suits them. A playing card will be put somewhere near the center of the target, and each contestant will get three throws from behind the 10 foot mark. The distance between the closest throw and the edge of the card will be recorded, and the contestant that got the closest, or that hit the card the most, will be the winner.

Arts & Sciences Activities:

Scrolls!!! There will be a scroll blank competition as well as an open display at Hawkwood's Baronial Birthday.
Entries in the scroll blank competition can be in any style. Documentation is encouraged, but not required. After the competition, entries will be donated to the local scriptorium.
If you are interested in an assignment, please contact Lady Heather at hlrumpfATgmail.com
