The Shire of Adlersruhe presents Collision of Caravans: Where Merchantile Meets Might! June 21-23, 2013.
The Caravan Collision
Presenting the best and most incredible part of this year’s event: The Caravan Collision!
Event attendees may organize themselves into Caravans for the chance to win a War Chest of goodies!
Cost of entry: One item of some quality to be submitted to the War Chest
What makes up a Caravan:
6-1o attendees make up a Caravan.
All Caravans must include at least 2 heavy combatants, 1 rapier combatant, 2 for archery, cooking or bardic (any combination), and 1 slave for the slave auction.
Points will be awarded to Caravans for their participation in the activities at the event: 1 point for entering a competition, 3 points for each advancement to a subsequent round, 10 points for winning any competition, 20 style points to be handed out to any Caravan that shows exceptional effort toward the theme of the event. Should certain special Coronets be present, addition points may be available for winning.
The Caravan with the most points wins the War Chest, to do with the spoils as it pleases.
All Caravans must have an Elder, who will serve as liaison for Adlersruhe event staff.
Caravans are encouraged to create standards and “spirit clothing.” Decorating your encampment, armor, etc., will go a long way to earning style points.
The Caravan Collision will not interfere with any other tourney or competition. It is a separate event that runs concurrently with everything else… In other words, you don’t have to have a Caravan to play or even win a competition. Everyone is welcome!
All Caravans must register before hand.
