Hunt to find Boudicca

The latest subject of interest for royal remains hunters is Boudicca, the warrior queen, who fought the Romans to defend Britain, who may lie beneath a Birmingham McDonalds or platform eight, nine or 10 at King's Cross Station.

"It's one of the few fields where anyone can make a significant contribution with almost no background," said Dr Mike Heyworth, the director of the Council for British Archaeology, about the number of amateur archaeologists seeking royal graves. He believes that "practically anyone could stumble upon her remains if they were dedicated enough."
