The body seach continues. This time the target is Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, who died in 1530, and was Archbishop of York and Lord Chancellor to Henry VIII. Wolsey died and was buried at Leicester Abbey. Now city councillor Ross Willmott wants to search for Wolsey's remains.
"Cardinal Wolsey was also somebody who was buried in Leicester, not that long after Richard III was killed, and whose body has never been found. It may be more difficult to find him in one piece, but you never know,” said Willmott, who wants the council to work with Leicester University in the search for the Cardinal's remains.
