Fallen SCAdian Soldier Remembered in McKinney, Texas

Over five hundred mourners packed the First United Methodist Church in McKinney, Texas, to say farewell to Second Lieutenant Brian Smith, known in the SCA as Friedrich von Konigsburg.
Reverend Ader, who presided over the memorial, said that Brian Smith will be remembered for his intelligence and his imagination. Friends and relatives also eulogized Smith's sense of humor and his selflessness in taking on risky and unpleasant jobs so that others would not have to do so.
