So polish your armour, clean your shields, and sharpen your blades, it is again time for you all to meet on the field of training. The Incipient Shire of Veerförden invites you to join us in a celebration of the arts of combat.

From the 12.04.2012 until the 14.04.2013, you can join well known fighters, such as Sir Oliver of the Barony of Aarnimetsä, (who has graciously agreed to instruct those who are brave enough to travel the wild lands that lay beyond our borders) on the fields of training

The generous Family de Flintbeke invite you to join them. They offer warm meals, good company and good cheer for the fighters and their familes.

Futher teachers and marshals are invited and welcomed with open arms.

For those who make this journey to our homeland we extend the offer of arts and sciences.

The delightful Lady Cornelia has graciously agreed to teach Calligraphy, join her in the art of wielding the pen.

We welcome any artist or generous hearted person who is willing to share their skills with us.

Games for the children and perhaps a story or two as the evening wears on.

If you wish to brave the elements, we have place enough for those who wish to use their tents, we also have place inside (we cannot promise heating) for those who wish to stay overnight and on site. (Please inform as with your reservation, or earlier.)

We hope to see the faces of old friends and with luck of new friends. So please join us in this celebration of the arts of combat.
