The Crusade Team Skirmish will again feature at this years event, with eight fighter (heavy/light mix) teams to compete in a round robin format with the winner claiming victory and their teams name going onto the Chalice. Will the Axemen win again this year? Or will another team take their place?

The feast on the Saturday will also host the fighter prize auction (with all money raised being split for the Cancer Council and the College of Scribes) with both a Light and a heavy tournament to be fought on the sunday morning. We encourage as many people to bring small donations for the prize pool and are offering a $5 discount on the event cost if you promise to bring a prize at the time of booking.

This years A&S Collegia will largely focus on the Scribal arts, pagentry and heraldry. If anyone is interested in running a Collegium please contact the Steward of the event (Thanatos, email below).

We are also tentatively planning on holding a siege engine tourney on the saturday afternoon in combination with the war and fort battles. Anyone who is interested please let us know so that we know rough numbers of people who may compete. Proposed rules are available on request.

For those who haven't been to Noonameena (site of the last Border War), it is a private bush lodge located just out of Porepunkah, capable of holding 100 people in comfortable dorms, plus heaps of camping space (there are hot showers!). The area around the lodge itself is lightly wooded and there is a small but solid wooden fort located onsite, amidst plenty of war fields and sites for woods battles. It is going to be a private site so only the owners and the event attendees will be onsite during the weekend.

For more information, queries, bookings, offers of help, insults etc please contact the steward of the event, Gabriel Kalothetos (Thanatos) on: bordescros@sca.org.au

We hope to see you there!
