Stafford Castle to be restored

The Stafford Borough Council reports that over UKĀ£75,000 will be spent to restore Stafford Castle, a late 11th century Norman castle in Stafford, England.

The restoration work will be focused on the castle's earthworks, which are considered to be "one of the best surviving examples of Norman earthworks in the country". The project will cause the castle to be closed for short periods of time.
