The original Staffordshire Hoard was found by metal detector enthusiast Terry Herbert. The latest was discovered by a team from Archaeology Warwickshire, although Herbert, and land owner Fred Johnson, will benefit from the find. The newly-unearthed pieces will be added to the original collection held by the Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
