Their Excellencies Callixtus and Adriana and the Barony of Windmasters' Hill invite you to join us at Betsy Jeff Penn 4H Center in Reidsville, NC the weekend of February 15-17, 2013.

Although the winter winds blow fiercely in the second month of the year. Fear not for the cabins as well as the hall and class room spaces are all heated to help us ward off the chill. We hope you plan on being a part of our Barony's Annual Celebration.

Site Opens: 5:00 PM Friday, February, 15, 2013.
Site Closes: 11:00 AM Sunday, February, 17, 2013

Site Restrictions: Pets are permitted only on a leash outdoors only - they are NOT ALLOWED in ANY of the buildings. Fires allowed only in pre-existing fire pits. Swim in the lake at your own risk; no lifeguard is on duty. Alcohol is permitted for those over the age of 21. No original containers. Take your empties and trash home with you. Parking directly by the cabins is prohibited. It is advisable if you have a cart to bring it with you for loading and unloading. You may bring camp stoves for cooking; however, no food may be cooked or prepared in the cabins.

Cell Phone Reception: Cell phone service in this area is spotty and may be unavailable under certain service providers. To help maintain the medieval ambiance at the event for everyone, we ask that everyone keep their cell phone on vibrate or turn it off while on site for the duration.

Important note about Children/Minors at Ymir: Please don't make us turn away your child at the gate! Unless you are the child's parent or legal guardian, we must have a properly completed and notarized Minor Medical Authorization Form. This includes grandparents and other relatives. Cabins: There are 8 heated cabins on site. Each has 26 beds, electricity, and shower facilities. If you would like to be in a cabin or camp with a group of people, PLEASE have all of your group members contact Lady Jdeke von Kolberg at ladyjdeke[AT]gmail[DOT]com with your ACCEPS confirmation number. Additionally, although the cabins are heated, if you prefer more warmth you may want to bring a space heater or electric blanket.

NEWCOMERS' POINT! Ymir is a WONDERFUL event for newcomers as there is something for everyone! There will be a Newcomers' Point at the event and details will be provided soon!

Reservation Policy

    Make your reservations via ACCEPS (Available Soon!).
    All feast and cabin reservations are taken via ACCEPS.
    Please save a copy of your ACCEPS receipt and bring it with you when you check-in.
    If you want to stay with a group in a cabin please have all group members forward their ACCEPS confirmation (including the group name) to Lady Jdeke von Kolberg, ladyjdeke[AT]gmail[DOT]com
    There will be no camping outside of the cabins available!!
    Children 0-4 that will be occupying a cabin bed space by themselves have to pay the cabin fee.

Child's Cabin Fee (age 4 and under)     Free(However, if your child of any age requires their own separate bed in a cabin, you must pay for the bed through ACCEPS. Your children age 4 and under are welcome to share a bed with a parent or with any other paid children. There are no extra beds that are not available through ACCEPS.)
