Translating Tolkien: Text and Film

The New York Tolkien Society recently announced the publication of Cormarë 6: Translating Tolkien: Text and Film, a collection of non-fictional essays and papers.

Walking Tree Press is the publisher of this collection of scholarly examinations of Tolkien's fantasy world. The essays cover the process of translating Tolkien's work into foreign languages and adapting it for film and animation.

Several essays discuss Peter Jackson's film version of Lord of the Rings.
