On the 14th to the 16th of December, Aros will hold Nordmarks Principality Coronet Tournament in Järlåsa bygdegård. Prince Brendan and Princess Niamh invites the people of Nordmark to participate in and bear witness of the tournament that will determine Their heirs!
If you wish to participate in the tournament, send in your letters of intent to the seneschal of Nordmark and the Prince and the Princess before the 24th of November.
The tournament will be held at 10:00 on Saturday, the 15th of December.
The early start is mainly due to the sun coming up at about 08:47 and setting at 14:50, the few hours of daylight should be savored!
Site opens on Friday at 17:00 and close on sunday at 13:00.
Preliminary schedule for Saturday:
09:00-10:00 Armor inspection
11:30-14:00 Lunch (fighters will have the opportunity to eat after the tournament)
The site has no street address. GPS coordinates are; N 59.89856 E 17.20619.
Järlåsa Bygdegård is situated 1.5 km north of the village Järlåsa, between Sala and Uppsala.
Sleeping on site is on the floor, bring airmattress, bedding etc.
There is limited crash space available!
Due to the limitation of crash space, 16 spots will be reserved for fighters and consorts.
When you reserve, please indicate if you intend to participate in the tournament as a fighter or a consort!

Cost for day-tripping guests:
170 SEK if 16 years old or more and not a member
120 SEK if a member and 8 or above
50 SEK for 1-7 years old
Cost for guests staying the night:
300 SEK if 16 years old or more and not a member
250 SEK if 16 years old or more and a member
150 SEK if 8-15 years old
50 SEK if 1-7 years old
This includes site-fee, light supper on Friday evening, breakfast, lunch and feast on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
We encourage day-tripping. For those choosing to day-trip the cost is 120 SEK, which includes lunch and feast on Saturday.
For non SKA/SCA members 16 years and over, a non-member surcharge of 50 SEK is applied.
Attendants living in Sweden shall pay to postal giro: 47 58 35-5 SKA-Aros, before November 30!
Attendants not living in Sweden can pay at the door.
When registering, make sure to note any dietary restrictions or allergies!
Road description: Drive to Järlåsa along road 72 (Salavägen), 28 km from Uppsala.
In Järlåsa take the road north, marked Järlåsa k:a. The site is on the right side, 1.5 km from the intersection.
Signs will be posted from road 72 (Salavägen) where the turn north should be made.
Bus: If you arrive on UL bus 848 to Järlåsa, pick up and drop off can be arranged, contact the autocrat.
The last bus on Saturday night to Uppsala departs 01:13 from Järlåsa…
