The Shire of Midhaven has had a plentiful harvest and we invite you to share of it at our Harvest Feast on Saturday, November 17, 2012.
The feast will be in the Scottish Highlands theme. We are honored to welcome Their Royal Highnesses Prince UlfR Blodfotur Fallgrson and Princess Caoimhe (Keeva) ingen Domnaille. We also have the honor of hosting Baron Steinolf Ketilsson and Countess Sineidin inghean an Bhiadtaigh of Aquaterra.
Light refreshments will be available during the day on the day-board. The event will run from Noon - 10pm, with the feast starting at 5:30pm. Court will begin at 4:30pm.
Planned outdoor activities (weather permitting) are Heavy Fighting Practice, Rapier Fighting Practice, Darts and Lawn Games.
There will be 4 different A&S workshops available from noon-3:30pm. At all of these classes/workshops, you will be able to learn or practice an art. All projects will be used for largesse. You will get hands-on experience in the art, a hand-out to take home and recreate the project yourself, and the honor of adding your time and efforts to creating largesse!
Her Royal Highness Caoimhe (Keeva) ingen Domnaille has graciously offered to teach a class on Viking caps. They are easy to make and can be embellished even if someone's never done embroidery before.
