Archaeologists seek Kingsholm Palace

A BBC video reports that archaeologists believe they have discovered the site of the Anglo-Saxon Kingsholm Palace in Gloucester, England.

The Palace was the location of the signing of the decree by William I for the Domesday Book, and now a team of experts is digging up gardens in hope of finding clues to the actualk location. So far, they have found such items as a pin head, once thought to be of Roman origin.
